The service

describeyourex gives you a link where friends answer a question about your ex anonymously. Answers are private to you. It is entertainment: nothing written here is a statement of fact about anyone.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. By using the site you confirm that you are.

Your content

You are responsible for what you write and for what you choose to post elsewhere. Answers must follow the rules. We may block, hide or delete any answer or link, and limit or stop access, when the rules are broken or to protect people. You allow us to store and process answers only to run the service: deliver them, check them, draw your cards and reports.

The Ex Report

The Ex Report is an optional one-time purchase for one link, sold through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes and receipts. It is written by an AI model from your answers and is meant to be funny, not accurate. If something goes wrong with a purchase, write to hello@describeyourex.com; your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

No guarantees

We work to keep the site available and the checks strict, but we can't promise that every answer that breaks the rules is caught or that the service never stops. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or for what users write.

We may update these terms; the version on this page is the one in force.
